The Bio
2003 is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to meet and influence our
Senators and Representatives, plus officials from the FDA, NIH, Centers
for Medicare and Medicaid services and other key agencies and
departments. For its tenth anniversary the convention hosted between
15,000 and 20,000 biotechnology executives, politicians, scientists,
and reporters. The convention has not only grown larger, but it has now
become a global event. Last year, at Bio 2002, 52 countries were
represented and for the first time United States registrants were a
minority. This year Trophogen eagerly participated in Bio 2003 and
established itself as a new presence to the international biotechnology
community.
In late July of this year, Trophogen officially met the
public for the first time at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Society for
the Study of Reproduction (SSR) held in Baltimore, MD at the Marriott
Waterfront Hotel. Trophogen hosted an exhibition booth that displayed
important publications, company history, and staff information.
Networking with many of the top scientists in the field of reproductive
biology, Trophogen established itself as a new presence in the
fast-growing biotechnology community of Maryland. Shown here is the
champagne raffle that was held at Trophogen?s booth on the last day of
the conference.
